Direct Support Professional (Day Program)
Job description
Community Options, Inc. is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 11 states.
We are now hiring Full-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSP), Caregivers, Direct Care Staff, Home Health Aides in Moorestown, NJ to provide person-centered care tailored to meet the needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This is a fantastic opportunity for professional growth, while making a difference! No experience required– we provide PAID training!
Starting pay is $15.00/hour
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid Driver’s License
Responsibilities:
- Assist and engage individuals with disabilities with their daily living and independence skills.
- Utilize Person Centered Plans to assess an individual's needs.
- Administer medication(s) and complete appropriate documentation.
- Accompany individuals to and from Program and activities within the community.
- Foster a meaningful relationship between the individuals and their community.
