Georgia Options is an Athens based non-profit dedicated to helping adults with developmental disabilities have typical life experiences.
We are looking for Direct Support Professionals who are reliable, fun and willing to try new things and have new experiences!
We have several part or full time week night and weekend positions in the Lawrenceville area. You must be available for second shift (4pm-12am) and/or weekends.
No previous experience needed, but enthusiasm and a positive attitude are a must! All training will be provided. Requires high school diploma. Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
This position pays $12 to $13 per hour.
You will provide support, guidance and coaching to assist the person to make friends and establish strong natural relationships.
You will provide personal care, assist with health related activities, and at times, you may need to help your person work through difficult emotions or behavior to effectively communicate their needs and/or wants.
You will help your person live their best life.
Pay is $12 to $13 per hour.
Must be able to work second shift and/or weekends.
