Direct Support – Help Neighbors in Nassau County 1:1–Tuition Reimbursement & New Rate!

In this fast-paced, high-energy role, you will be expertly trained to work one-on-one to assist people with complex intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their goals, as you record their progress. This is your chance to be creative and use your problem-solving skills as you navigate new ways to help the people which you support. I/DD experience is preferred.

As a 1:1 Direct Support Professional, you’ll need:

· A passion to help others

· Good verbal and written communication skills

· Qualified NYS drivers' license

· Completion of advanced training will be required (AMAP AND SCIP-R)

· Experience with ID/DD preferred

· HS Diploma preferred.
