The hours of this position is Monday-Friday 6:30am - 2:30 pm


The salary range for this position is $18.00-$19.00 an hour.

RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Implement and adhere to established treatment plans.
  • Maintain all required certifications.
  • Provide hands on supervisor of individuals with Autism, including implementation of behavior goals and behavior plans.
  • Flexible to work overtime, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays when necessary.
  • Transport residents in agency vehicles as needed.
  • Maintain client’s personal allowance accounts.
  • Schedule staff at the residence.
  • Coordinate shopping and proper meal distribution.
  • Maintain correspondence with Nurse and Medical Coordinator to ensure appropriate medical appointments are made and occur.
  • Ensure program goals are implanted by Habilitation Specialist.
  • Coordinate recreational goals.
  • Report issues regarding vehicles to supervisor.
  • Maintain individual/family confidentiality.
  • Commitment to company values and adherence to policies.
  • Schedule all medical, lab and specialty appointments.
  • Ensure all medication orders are current and accurate.
  • Complete inventory of medications weekly to ensure adequate supply.
  • Obtain results for all lab work and specialty appointments in a timely fashion.
  • Notify residence and day program of any medication changes.
  • Update medical consults with all pertinent information.
  • Submit monthly calendar of appointments, in a timely fashion, for family notification.
  • May be required to report to alternate work location (e.g. Hospital, Dr.’s Office etc.)
  • Attend all trainings and in services provided.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Vaccination required
  • Ability to run.
  • Ability to safely assist lifting individuals of various weights & 20 lb items.
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • First Aid, CPR, and SCIP certifications required or Aptitude to obtain upon hire.
  • Demonstrate patience, ability to learn, and utilize systematic procedures in order to enhance individual’s independence and quality of life.
  • Maintain a Valid Driver’s License.
  • Fluency in medical terminology useful but not mandatory.
