Position Description:

The Director of Team Marketing serves as the leader of the team marketing team in the Department of Athletics for the University of Louisville, a Division I member of the NCAA and proud member of the Atlantic Coast Conference.� This position's main objective is to market and promote the Louisville Cardinals with the goal of increasing season, single-game and group ticket sales for ticketed sports while enhancing overall fan experience and attendance for all 23 sport programs. This position reports directly to the Assistant Athletic Director for Fan Experience.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee department marketing initiatives including supervision and direction of marketing plans, promotional calendars, ticket sales strategies, and in-game promotions for all 23 sport programs
  • Direct and supervise full-time team marketing staff and student interns to execute promotional activities, video board content and in-game assets with a focus on providing elite client and customer service
  • Lead Marketing Director, Football. Develop, implement, and execute a comprehensive marketing plan, for football
  • Strategy and execution of Season Ticket Member program, in collaboration with Strategic Ticket Sales staff, including promotion and� event coordination
  • Work with numerous stakeholders to maximize attendance to NCAA and ACC Championship events hosted by the University of Louisville, ensuring all participating fans, institutions, and student-athletes have a memorable experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Sports Administration, Marketing or related field
  • Leadership experience in intensive, fast-paced environments
  • Demonstrate understanding of latest industry trends in game production management, creative content development, leveraging sponsorship and overall innovative approaches to event production
  • Direct experience working with sports teams and coaches
  • Ability to work nights and weekends
  • Competency in Adobe Photoshop
  • Effective written, verbal skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills and high-aptitude for organization
  • Knowledge of NCAA and ACC rules and regulations

$85,798.00

Target Compensation Minimum:

$48,421.00

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
