Shocker Printing is looking for an individual who provides great customer service while multitasking and working in a fast pace environment. Are you comfortable with printing machinery and want to work in a team-oriented environment and are eager to learn? The Digital Printing Specialist position may be just what you are seeking!
Responsibilities and Essential Functions: Facilitates printing services through the operation, maintenance and production of printing projects to University customers. Prepares, maintains and operates printing machinery. Troubleshoots mechanical issues as need to ensure seamless service.
Assists customers with project submissions to ensure the best quality customer product. Completes work orders and delivery tickets. Delivers orders and communicates project status with customers. Ensures scheduled and off-cycle maintenance is completed and service delays are communicated in a timely manner.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent by hire date; One (1) year of experience in customer service or related field; Knowledge of standard safety practices, processes, and equipment handling. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe software products. Knowledge of digital print job submission and online ordering. Ability to maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, coworkers, and clients. Knowledge of standard English, spelling, punctuation, and grammar. Ability to make basic arithmetic computations. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to communicate verbally in an understandable and tactful manner. Physical strength and stamina sufficient to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds. Ability to understand and use machines and tools.
Preferred Experience: Experience in digital printing trade
