Position Summary:

The Digital Specialist will work with category managers and partner agencies to execute creative and social tactics to handle day to day operations for B2C and B2B campaigns across our portfolio of brands. Determine unique ways to spread awareness about Ventura Foods and drive product sales. Working directly with Digital Marketing Manager, the Digital Marketing Specialist supports all B2C and B2B brands digital marketing activities.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Operations:

  • Research advertising trends and competitors’ pricing and products
  • Execute projects with the team to create content for campaigns, website, and social platforms
  • Contribute to the creation of creative marketing campaigns across social media, the company website, email and other platforms.
  • Assist in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies
  • Tracking digital marketing performance
  • Creating and updating digital marketing reports
  • Overseeing the digital marketing budget
  • Oversee content creation and timelines
  • Mange website and a.i. chatbot performance

Analytics / Reporting

  • Responsible for measuring and reporting performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assessing against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Responsible for identifying trends and insights, and optimizing spend and performance based on the insights
  • Responsible for measuring and reporting performance of Website using GA4


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing.
  • 3+ years digital marketing experience in enterprise-level corporation.
  • Proven experience as a digital marketing specialist or similar role.
  • Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media etc.) and market research methods.
  • Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools such as native analytics in Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, IG, and Google.
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite and CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords etc.) Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and WordPress desired.
  • Google ads certified.
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented.
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills.
  • Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of standard and current SEO practices, experience with SEO reporting.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe photoshop and working knowledge of HTML, CSS.
  • Familiarity with relevant tools (e.g. Conductor, screaming Frog, Moz, SEM Rush) and web analytic tools (e.g. Google analytics, webtrends).
  • Proficient with digital listening and measurement tools, such as Sprinkler, Social Studio, Brandwatch, Digimind, Google Analytics and other leading programs ands-on experience with advertising platforms including DSPs, Google ads and lead buys.
  • Working understanding of paid digital media. Working understading of email marketing.
  • Hands-on experience creating/executing multi-platform digital marketing/media campaigns.
  • Data driven and goal-oriented.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail.

  • Salary Base Range of $78,000 – $82,000 for Employees Located in California*
  • The “base salary range” provided above is a good faith estimate of what we expect to pay for this position. The range provided is for California-based employees as Ventura Foods is required by California State Law to post pay rates. Ventura Foods reserves the right to pay outside of the given range based on a variety of factors including but not limited to: candidate skills and experience, complexity of the job, budgetary factors, and location/geography. Ventura Foods conducts regular reviews of compensation ranges and therefore reserves the right to alter this range at any given time.
