Located in Koreatown Los Angeles, Hong Art Studio provides after-school art education to students K-12.

Our main studio is open Monday - Saturday. Weekday hours are typically between 3 PM-7 PM, and Saturday hours are 10 AM-4 PM. Class availability is subject to change based on enrollment and demand.

We are searching for a multi-talented Art Teacher with a digital background who can help high schoolers prepare art portfolios for college applications. If hired, the applicant will lead a in-person Saturday Digital class. Current students are working on Entertainment Design based projects. We are looking for someone who can help students in regards to Illustration, Graphic Design, Animation, etc.

Working days and hours can change depending on teaching style and student demand.

Job Requirements are as follows:

-Hold a degree (or be working towards) in a related discipline (Illustration, Graphic Design, Entertainment Design, etc.)

-Have experience teaching art to children and young adults. Special needs experience is a plus.

-Be Knowledgeable in Adobe Suite, Procreate, and other visual arts related Digital Softwares.

-Be a team player who works well with other artists and educators.

-Have a passion for guiding students to grow as artists and develop strong portfolios.

-Have good communication skills. Korean-English bilingual ability is a plus.

Applicants must be reliable, friendly, familiar with contemporary culture, and enjoy working with teens.

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
