Job Title: Diesel Technician

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Diesel Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing Ford, Dodge, and Chevy diesel pickup trucks. Our ideal candidate is someone who possesses extensive experience with one of these manufacturers and has a strong willingness to learn and become proficient with the others.

Responsibilities:

• Independently diagnose, repair, and perform maintenance tasks on diesel pickup trucks.
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify and address any issues or potential problems.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and shop scanners to diagnose complex vehicle systems.
• Perform engine repairs, fuel system repairs, electrical repairs, and other mechanical repairs as needed.
• Conduct routine maintenance and ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards.
• Keep accurate records of all repairs, services, and parts used.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technical advancements, and manufacturer specifications.
• Collaborate effectively with other team members and provide assistance when needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Diesel Technician, specializing in Ford, Dodge, or Chevy diesel pickup trucks.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and shop scanners.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, fuel systems, electrical systems, and other vehicle components.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing time and tasks effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Willingness to learn and become proficient in repairing vehicles of other manufacturers.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Working Hours:

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

A candidate must be able to pass a drug test, background check and must possess a valid California driver's license with a clean and insurable, within a reasonable rate, driving record. Reliable transportation is required.

Benefits:

One week of paid time off after a year of employment and 2 weeks PTO after 3 years of employment.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
