Spokane Produce, Inc. is seeking a qualified FULL TIME Diesel Mechanic/Technician to add to our team!

Essential Duties:

• Repair and maintain diesel trucks in a Fleet environment
• Trouble shoot, diagnose, and repair engines, transmissions and electrical components
• Preventive maintenance
• Keep required maintenance logs
• Repair trailers and reefer units
• Prefer some diesel mechanic experience; MUST have tools
• Class A CDL endorsement is a plus, but not required

Qualifications:
~Ability to work in an enclosed mechanic bay exposed to welding fumes and smoke, diesel exhaust and machine noise
~Ability to work in non-climate controlled conditions is required
~Ability to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and safety regulations is required
~Visual and hearing abilities required as it relates to the job and safety regulations
~Frequently stand/walk during shift; frequently bend, twist, and squat during shift
~Frequently lift using both hands/arms reaching, grasping and carrying, weights up to 30 lbs., occasionally up to 50 lbs., rarely up to 100 lbs.
~Regular, predictable full attendance is an essential function of the job
~ONE YEAR Diesel Mechanic experience is preferred

We offer a competitive salary of $22.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending upon experience, and benefits package including employee discounts on in-house purchases on your first day; medical/dental/vision/disability and voluntary life insurance first of the month after 60 days; paid holidays and vacation after one year; and 401k with employer match at only 6 months of employment.
