A Destination Manager oversees the standards of Destination Experience and asset management of the destination residences and team. The field-based individual is a service oriented professional who is highly organized and can manage destination teams to ensure exceptional member experiences and relations with affluent clientele worldwide. The individual must have a proven reputation in identifying five star luxury residential real estate and lifestyles while delivering consistent, extraordinary and unparalleled services, products and amenities. This role is based in Big Sky, MT.
Job Responsibilities:
Hospitality Operations
  • Oversee all Destination Planning and Concierge work that is needed to ensure flawless member experience.
  • Review and approve destination billing: residential, member folios, funding & expense reports.
  • Formulate plans that relay cost saving ideas and efficiencies throughout the destination.
  • Serve as the primary representative in community outreach and participate in community affairs and maintain positive public image for Inspirato.
  • Interview, train, manage, schedule, coach and create the most successful destination team for planning, concierge, housekeeping and maintenance services.
  • Manage and audit exceptional delivery of Inspirato Signature Service for members from planning to arrival through departure.
  • Maintains close relationship with Revenue Management to maximize overall profitability of the destination where applicable.
  • In conjunction with sales leaderership, assist develop and implement sales and marketing plans for non-member stays.
  • Develop and implement meaningful, local destination programming for members and their guests.
  • Anticipate staff and member needs to achieve the highest level of member satisfaction.
  • Support destination emergency efforts for a 24/7 operation to improve service recovery & communications. Ensure safety practices and procedures are followed and proper emergency and security procedures are maintained.
  • Assist with creative ideas and resolutions to address residential and member challenges and opportunities. Tour and visually inspect property on a daily basis.
  • Monitor cost control, property condition, cleanliness, quality of product, and service throughout.
  • Lead team meetings and training sessions for the destination staff.
Asset Management:
  • Govern performance of 3rd party contractors including; housekeeping, property managers, service & maintenance, activity vendors.
  • Working knowledge of residential systems and material standards of care specifications including building systems, HVAC, in-home technology, interior finishes, and other relevant attributes.
  • Support destination emergency efforts for a 24/7 operation to improve service recovery & communications
  • Hold Property Mangers accountable to consistently execute on portfolio improvements. This includes budget management, procurement, scheduling, homeowner communication.
  • Comprehensive preventative maintenance program development and implementation.
  • Work with Inspirato Legal and Risk Management teams to ensure the asset team is compliant in all safety and risk protocols.
  • Own ongoing relationships with landlord(s).
  • Analyze monthly destination and property-specific residence functionality scores and empower & hold direct reports and destination staff accountable. Work to craft action plans for improvement around low performing homes.
  • Oversight of ongoing utility expenses and cost/quality/sustainability opportunities.
  • Assist leadership in preparing effective pro formas for asset related expenses as needed.
  • Assist in the process transitioning of new properties to effective in-service status, including participating in new home installations, setting up utilities, gathering relevant property and asset information, scheduling inspections and other pertinent vendors.
  • Active involvement in the sales process, including encouraging the leadership team to develop effective revenue management strategies and setting aggressive goals that will drive the property's financial performance for non-member stays.
  • Communicate proficiently and work effectively with all Inspirato departments and associated partners to create continuous improvement for the business.
  • Foster a team atmosphere between that destination and Denver team. Facilitate a weekly destination call with Denver management to discuss members’ vacations, housekeeping, property maintenance.
  • Oversees implementation of Inspirato business initiatives and follows through with adaptation.
  • Routinely conducts on-site inspections, trip planning audits, physical inventories, asset functionality audits, written material audits.
  • Handle asset escalations and resolve root cause issues through programmatic and system processes.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and have reliable transportation
Qualifications: Candidate must meet the following qualifications
  • 3-5 years of management experience and knowledge in hospitality, private luxury clubs, hotel and resort operations, travel management, asset management, marketing, accounting management.
  • Should have at least one year experience with international hospitality management.
  • 3-5 years of people management experience
Compensation - $58,000 - $74,000 Base Salary
We believe in building a compensation structure that reflects the comparable market pay rate for positions at companies similar in size, revenue generation and geographic location; in addition to individual factors including seniority, performance-based merit, education/training and experience related to scope of responsibilities.
Equity - This position is eligible for the company's equity plan.

Flexible Paid Time Off – This position is eligible for flexible paid time off. At Inspirato, we believe in taking personal responsibility for managing and balancing our individual time off with our workload and results. Instead of accruing or being granted a specific number of days per year, employees have the flexibility to manage their time out of the office.
  • Individuals based in California are eligible for a paid time off policy in which PTO is accrued each pay period.
FAM Trip – This Position is eligible for the Employee Familiarization Travel Program following three (3) consecutive months of employment. This program provides you up to one seven (7) day reservation in an eligible Inspirato property per your employment calendar year – subject to seasonal property demands and the company Employee Familiarization Travel Program Terms and Conditions.
