Your job will be to work on one of our newest initiatives, designing and managing the rollout of Asda brand POS and marketing for our convenience formats.

You will be working with our partners at their offices to help shape the creative vision of POS and instore experience for our stores, helping to scope the briefs for creative required. Delivering projects from concept to print whilst engaging various stakeholders signoff along the way.

Your passion for design delivery and understanding of in store POS design, our design guidelines and our design strategy will ensure that our customers' engagement, loyalty and trust continues to grow within the market by delivering the best possible in store experience.

You will also be responsible for overseeing any creative that their stakeholders produce, coaching and ensuring the work that they produce is on brand for us, consistently applied and right for our strategy.

Your role will include the creation and maintenance of robust and thorough guidelines, toolkits and templates for artwork and print agencies, briefing our partners on any changes and updates. You will be responsible for ensuring adherence to them, along with a system for the library management.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Becoming an expert in Asda guidelines and toolkits inside, being the first point of contact for all design queries
• Working with our partners to gather creative briefs, to understand their creative requirements and the customer problem we need to solve.
• Delivering beautifully relevant, customer-centric design and artwork, from brief to landing in store.
• Working with our internal print team, plus external printers and agencies.
• Working with MOPs team to deliver against critical path, within agreed timescales.
• Key player in briefing creative agencies as required and working with our internal design studio, Studio 368. Presenting work back to senior teams and our partners for approval.
• Maintaining a consistent high standard of creative delivery through all projects.
• Managing internal system to ensure it's up to date with the most up to date creative and guidelines.
• Working remotely on ad hoc briefs from our internal design studio, delivering creative and artwork for wider Asda initiatives.

About you:

You must have:

• Experience working as a Graphic Designer (print) in a design agency or in-house design studio.
• Ability to multi-task; and be used to a fast paced and dynamic work environment
• Strong creative skills and excellent attention to detail
• A good understanding of brand design and management
• Technical knowledge of artwork, repro and print process
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
