Design Analyst

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Design Analyst, are to:

• Partner cross functionally with R&D IT, CLS and other automation teams in Bayer Crop Science and Bayer to design and deliver workflows for value added smart and connected systems;
• Provide leadership on solution design and implementation to enable a larger, smarter, and more connected pipeline;
• Develop and implement new solutions to support business strategies through value driven prioritization and alignment with senior leadership;
• Be accountable for and ensure solutions meet business requirements;
• Encourage and uphold high standards for the digital product experiences;
• Uncover operational pain points, recommend appropriate solutions while partnering across champions and users, and drive implementation;
• Create clarity among stakeholders for hand off requirements, acceptance criteria, and POC development through business process documentation;
• Provide an interface between operational business of Field Solutions and IT to ensure priorities within the business areas are met, including detailed analysis of Field Solutions operations and translation into system specifications;
• Be accountable for Stakeholder Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships;
• Expected to have the ability to influence and align with key stakeholders local and global to ensure decisions are made in the best interest of program delivery.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience working with IT, field and analytics teams;
• BS/BA or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field;
• Experience leveraging contract and 3rd party providers to deliver solutions;
• Strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills, written and oral communications;
• Strong problem solving and proven project delivery skills;
• Demonstrated experience with global multi disciplinary teams and learning the science;
• Creative, proactive, bold and out of box thinking.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field with 5 years of experience in project management in IT and automation, or Masters degree with 2 years experience, or a PhD.
