Why join us

This won’t be your first venture into logistics. Instead, you’ll know it like the back of your hand, including operating in a unionised environment . Most of all, you are actively seeking a leadership challenge that will stand you in good stead for larger roles linked to your career aspirations.

The size of the challenge

The site is currently going through a cultural and operational transformation. There is full support & commitment from the wider business to enable the on-site leadership team to get on and do what they do best; Improve everything from processes to performance to culture. If you want to be part of that, in a role that could genuinely make your career, this is where you need to be.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll work alongside the General Manager, Transport Compliance Lead and Planning Manager as part of the site leadership team. Who you are

Your logistics background will have given you exposure to a unionised environment as you will be required to work collaboratively to implement change. Your hands-on style will be about empowerment, not micro-management, and you’ll be aware that a role like this focuses on people and treating them inclusively so that they can enjoy what they do. You’ll also have substantial first-hand warehouse and transport knowledge.
