We are so excited to share this opening for a Dental Hygienist In our state-of-the-art office in Manhattan, New York. we are looking for a Full-time Dental Hygienist to join our team and provide excellent patient care. We are a full-service general dental office.
The primary role of a Dental Hygienist, you'll be part of a team striving to provide an Excellent Patient Experience by keeping your patients focused on optimal and necessary treatment needs such as Scaling and Root planning while attending to their individual concerns. You will educate and counsel patients on dental health, plaque control, oral hygiene, and nutrition.

Office Culture:

In this position, you’ll be part of a team that builds long-term relationships amongst themselves and with our patients. You will be joining a team passionate about dental health and helping patients maintain or achieve their beautiful smiles while educating and providing opportunities for every patient to afford their dental needs.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:30 am- 5:30 pm
Requirements:Dental Hygienist Essential Functions

• Prepare and properly set up treatment rooms for hygiene procedures.
• Review and update the patient’s health history, chart progress, treatments, and home care compliance.
• Assess and evaluate patients through the exam, patient records, and patient medical history to diagnose dental hygiene problems, disease, and efficacy of administered treatment plans—complete scheduled treatments.
• Recognize early signs of periodontal disease; chart restorations and notate areas of concern.
• Develop and present treatment plans.
• Educate and motivate patients on proper oral hygiene and corrective/preventative measures.
• Work chairside with the Dentist as needed, and assist the doctor in hygiene examination.
• Schedule appropriate re-care appointments
• Adhere to strict safety guidelines and procedures to OSHA and office standards.
• Must always represent the practice in a professional, pleasant, and cooperative manner.
• Maintain regular attendance and adhere to assigned work schedules and office policies.
• Always maintain the highest level of confidentiality to HIPAA standards.
