Providence Family Dental is looking to add a stellar dental assistant to our growing team! We are looking for someone who is a great team player and has a passion for dentistry while providing exceptional patient care.
Job Duties May Include:
Greets patients in waiting area and escorts patients to the operatory- Assists the dentist in the administration of treatment at the chair side as required or directed by the dentist
- Maintain a sterile and neat working environment according to current infection control procedures
- Review the health history, make chart entries under the direction of the dentist and assure completion of forms and signatures
- Assume the responsibility associated with any duties that may be delegated by the dentist
- Familiarize the patient with the aspects of their dental visit and provide support and compassion to that patient when it is needed
- Stock operatories and maintain clinical supply inventory
- Review daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments
- Supervise preventive maintenance of dental equipment
- Take digital radiographs
- Follow practice protocols: quality assurance, biohazards, infection control, referral, emergency medicine, implants, perio program and emergency treatment
Must have 1 - 2 years of experience
Hours:
- Monday 7:30am - 5pm
- Tuesday 6:30am - 3pm
- Wednesday 7:30am - 5pm
- Thursday 6:30am - 5pm
- Friday: OFF
- Saturday: OFF
