Job description

A client of ours at Robert Half is looking for a Database Administrator with at least 3+ years of progressive DBA experience.

This role is fully on-site in Rochester, WA but may be able to provide some hybrid flexibility depending on the circumstances for the right candidate (2/days WFH). They have a strong focus on work-life balance and are very flexible with personal things/appointments that come up for their employees. It is a very relaxed, family environment, and everyone on the team gets along great! Responsibilities include:
Ensuring that all database systems are optimally designed for stability, availability, security, and performance
Setup, maintenance, security, problem detection/resolution, and tuning of databases in a networked environment.
Creating connections and reports as necessary to access information from the databases
Assisting in creating and coordinating database backup and recovery plans, as well as minimizing data loss when a failure occurs

Technical Must haves :
Minimum of 3 years of progressive DBA experience
Minimum of an Associate's degree or combination of equivalent experience/education
Strong Database & SQL experience
Integration services, reporting, stored procedures, writing SQL code, etc.

Nice to haves :
Experience with backup, disaster recovery
