Overview:
The Senior Data Steward is responsible for understanding and communicating master data management principles and standards as part of a business enabling team, which is implementing a master data management solution. In this role, the Senior Data Steward will perform routine data management, monitoring, analysis, cleansing, and reporting activities regarding master data. The Senior data steward has excellent domain expertise and industry knowledge to assist and guide other business units across the enterprise.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for master data enrichment, data quality and certifying data fit for purpose
Responsible for ensuring quality of master data records

Review and resolve manual merges with respect to potential duplicates by domain
Maintain domain hierarchies
Assist domain owners in the execution of data governance policies and standards to support RNDC data vision
Create and maintains business-centric content for data dictionary
Ensure data is delivered to the business as specified in agreed SLAs
Enforce data governance guidelines and principals for relevant master data processes and functions
Identify, analyze, and report/resolve data issues related to uniqueness, integrity, accuracy, consistency, and completeness
Define and provide management reporting on key data quality KPIs
Perform reject queue management and analysis and provide recommended remediation
Maintain existing list of values and augment as needed
Participate/lead in the development of SOPs, corporate guidelines and business rules
Provide guidance to internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in applicable field of study or equivalent work experience. Five + years experience managing/stewarding data. Domain specific expertise • Strong knowledge of data management principles, with experience in data analysis Experience with master data management and data governance, practices, and procedures Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities Be able to deal with ambiguity and make quality decisions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate and persuade at all management levels Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical addressees Able to quickly learn new technologies as they become prevalent and widely implemented including decision making, time management, and task prioritization Ability to work independently with minimum supervision Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Ability to analyze a problem, communicate the findings, identify possible options, and create documented artifacts of the overall process We are an Equal Opportunity employer.
