Job Title: Senior Data Engineer (Architecture)
Job duties:
Design solutions and guide a team of engineers to ensure accurate, consistent, reliable, and sustainable solutions are delivered; develop data integration solutions using tools (such as Informatica, Talend, Mulesoft, Qlik); build out data warehouse and/or data lake; Influence data engineering processes that result in highly accurate and trusted data assets for use in WinField United and across the organization; influence stakeholders to ensure investments in data-driven solutions are centered on optimizing clearly defined and quantified business outcomes; implement data structures using standards and best practices in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, SQL, database, and other technologies; build and optimize data pipelines, pipeline architectures and integrated datasets using various data integration technologies (such as ETL/ELT, data replication/CDC, message-oriented data movement, API design) on heterogenous datasets; work with relational databases and query authoring using SQL; manage the overall data landscape: meta data, processing patterns, and data quality; use agile methodology and implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Remote work permitted from within the Twin Cities metro.
Job Requirements:
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field plus 7 years of progressive post-baccalaureate data engineering/ data architecture experience. Requires 5 years of experience with each of the following:
Developing data integration solutions using tools (such as Informatica, Talend, Mulesoft, Qlik);
Building out data warehouse and/or data lake;
Working with heterogeneous datasets in building and optimizing data pipelines, pipeline architectures and integrated datasets using various data integration technologies (such as ETL/ELT, data replication/CDC, message-oriented data movement, API design);
SQL experience working with relational databases and query authoring;
Managing overall data landscape: metadata, processing patterns, and data quality.
Remote work permitted from within the Twin Cities metro.
