Essential Job Statements
May lead teams and/or projects that involve coordinating work activities, reporting on work status, and providing input on team performance
Enhances data models to support large data volume analytics
Collaborates with ETL Developers and Report Analysts in discussions that lead to design specifications and functionality
Leads production issue troubleshooting and solution implementation
Tunes report queries, complex analytics, and applications across our supported technology to maintain or improve performance
Architects solutions including the following: batch and/or real-time data exchange, real-time analytics using Tableau, complex reporting, and data integration with applications
Designs, documents, constructs, and deploys database architectures and applications
Creates and enforces database development standards
Follows organization change management practices
Mentors less experienced Data Architects
Covers for Team Lead as needed
Conducts reviews of emerging technology and best practices and presents findings to management and the end-user community

Education Qualifications:
Required Education:
Position typically requires a bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics or related education and experience
Combination of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

Master’s Degree in Analytics or Computer Science

Minimum Qualifications
Years and Type of Required Experience: 6 to 8 years
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Excellent SQL Skills
Experience with data modeling tools like ERWIN
Background in analytics modeling and publishing (Cognos, Tableau)
ETL Engine experience like IBM Infoshpere
Epic Caboodle/Clarity Data Model Certification required within 6 months
Data warehousing proficiency specific to data integration, data mart, and data quality implementations
Basic knowledge of application interoperability paradigms using standard interfaces (REST, SOAP, CSV, HTML, HL7)
Demonstrated experience with different data models (normalized, denormalized, star, and snowflake).
Demonstrated experience with transactional, temporal, time series, and structure and unstructured data
