Sales Data Analyst

This role will be adaptable and embrace change, as well as have a competent technical understanding and sales operations experience to effectively support business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will proactively evaluate and analyze sales data and processes, champion best practices, and provide insights to impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our sales teams.

A day in the life as a Data Analyst:

• Gather, analyze, and interpret sales data to identify trends, patterns, and insights
• Develop executive-level dashboards and visualizations that provide key performance metrics in a clear and simple manner
• Serve as an expert in the sales data to be able to identify gaps in accuracy or opportunities for increased data integrity
• Develop a deep understanding of the sales funnel across lines of business and for the enterprise
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand their growth strategy and how that translates to the data and analytics in support of their goals
• Collaborate with finance leadership, and other functional area leaders, to inform sales insights and proactively address opportunities for improvement
• Work closely with the Salesforce support team to address gaps or opportunities for data automation, accuracy and improvements in data coming in and out of the CRM system
• Communicate findings and recommendations to the sales team and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
• Stay up to date with industry and business intelligence trends and best practices

What you will bring:

• 4+ years of experience in a data analyst or similar role.
• 2+ years of experience with Salesforce CRM Analytics
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or others
• Experience with Tableau preferred
• Proficiency in dealing with numbers and calculations like percentages or statistics for reporting
• Knowledge of Salesforce CRM and reporting capabilities
• Proficient with PowerPoint, Word
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Highly skilled in visualizing data in compelling ways
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
