Position: Cytotechnologists

Location: 2315 Stockton Boulevard Sacramento, CA 95817

Shift Information: Day 5x8-Hour (08:30 - 17:00)

Job Duration: 13 weeks contract with an option to extend

Job description- We are seeking a highly capable Cytotechnologist to join our team. In this role, Cytotechnologists focus on a general variety of diseases found by using a microscope to detect abnormalities in human body cells. A similar role, cytogenetic technology, focuses on disorders related to DNA mutations or abnormalities.

Responsibilities-

• Using a microscope to examine the cells of the body
• Interpreting cells collected from cytological techniques, such as a Pap test, as normal or abnormal
• Detecting changes in human cells that indicate cancer, disease, or other abnormalities
• Collaborating with a pathologist to provide a timely diagnosis to allow physicians to provide appropriate treatment

Requirements-

• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Able to work under high pressure.
• Attention to detail.
• Good organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Pay $64-$70/h on W2
