Job description
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
To improve inventory accuracy using system generated cycle counting, determining root cause and corrective actions.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Work with other cycle counters to ensure counts are on time.
- Work with all Materials Personnel to ensure inventory is accurate.
- Assist Materials Control Supervisor with reconciliation of Audits (Dock, Empty Bin, Axle)
- Ensure discrepancies are fixed in a timely manner.
- Conduct root cause analysis and determine at corrective actions.
- Assist Planners in maintaining system integrity.
NECESSARY SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- One-year MRP experience preferred.
- Intermediate skill level using Microsoft Excel preferred.
- Ability to analyze and resolve inventory inaccuracies.
- Ability to recognize and identify areas for improvement.
- Competent with all required documentation.
- Proven ability to use AS400/KBM.
- Knowledge of TS requirements.
- Ability to perform weight count verifications.
- Understand the complexity of inventory back flush and material flow preferred.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or G.E.D. required.

- Works well independently.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Solid communication skills.
