BAE Systems is seeking a Cyber Analyst to join our team supporting the Space Systems Command. You will support our customer to develop, deploy, modernize, and expand the satellite ground systems program and its customers. You will be able to work equally well in a team as on their own and has the discipline, focus and ability to work remotely. We want a team player that is eager to learn and ready for a challenge. This position is full-time on site in Albuquerque, NM.

Duties include:
  • Installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and designing solutions with a wide selection of cyber industry tools
  • Developing and implementing enterprise-level solution design that employs a combination of expert engineering knowledge, enterprise IT, security solutions, enterprise architecture, security policies, and a full spectrum of military cyberspace operational environments
  • Implementation of and working with cloud technologies, capabilities, security standards, and deployment models
  • Working with identity management/rights management tools and implementation models
  • Evaluating solutions used to safely connect Internet and B2B devices and users
  • Application of PKI and other common cryptographic best practices

EDIS Program Description: The Engineering, Development, Integration and Sustainment (EDIS) contract is for Contract Support Services (CSS) providing engineering, development, integration, test, and sustainment of the Research and Development Space and Missile Operations (RDSMO) program Ground System Enterprise (GSE) in support of the United States Space Force (USSF) and Space Systems Command (SSC to look at how to make the nation’s national security space enterprise more resilient.

Pay Information:
Salary Range: $99,200 - $168,600
Please note this range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a STEM-related field and 9 years of relevant experience. Four (4) years of experience will be accepted in lieu of education
  • Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI
  • 5+ years of relevant Cyber Analyst experience
  • MUST possess a DoD 8570 IAT Level II or CSSP Analyst certification to be considered

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Linux and Windows integration in a virtualized environment
  • ESS and ACAS installation and management experience
  • Experience with SCAP scans and STIG viewer
  • Experience with patching and applying STIGs and other cyber technologies that implement security controls in military cyberspace operational environments, to include firewalls, router ACLs, PKI, OWASP, scripting, identity management, virtualization, etc.
  • Experience with Static Code Analysis using tools such as Fortify
