Founded in Milan, Italy over 50 years ago, ILLCA is a leader in the design, development and manufacturing of shelters and outdoor cabinets for applications in telecommunications, railways, energy, aeronautics, and defense components.
ILLCA has opened a brand-new startup facility in Olathe, Kansas and is currently seeking a CNC Laser Operator. This position is flexible and can be filled as either full-time or part-time. The Laser Cutter Operator is responsible for producing laser cut parts using a Trumpf C02 laser. Experience programming using Trumpf’s TruTops Boost software a plus.
The Olathe, KS facility engineers and develops prototypes and custom pieces requiring a high degree of problem solving, creativity and flexibility. This is NOT a production shop; This is an excellent place for more experienced professionals to grow and be challenged in their field.
ILLCA offers a beautiful, open workspace, including excellent HVAC, new equipment, and an opportunity to work either part time flexible or full time.
Responsibilities:- Must have thorough understanding of 2D CNC cutting processes including loading programs, trouble shooting issues and maintaining machine.
- Operate a laser cutter to produce per demand.
- Operate and maintain machine to manufacturers specifications.
- Assist co-workers and production manager as needed.
- 2+ years experience operating a 2D CNC cutting system (laser preferred, plamsa considered).
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Ability to use ERP/MRP software to open and close work orders.
- Forklift experience required for loading/unloading of material and parts.
- Familiarity reading manufacturing drawings.
