The Customer Service Specialist (CSS) is responsible for ensuring all current and prospective customers, clients, and suppliers of Five Star Food Service are provided with the best quality service and communication when they are in contact with our company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• First in line to answer incoming phone calls and emails. They must maintain a pleasant, professional communication with all incoming calls and emails.
• Input, track, and update service calls that come to the Five Star office as well as call from our answering service.
• Follow up with key customers or specific service calls to ensure field team provides the requested results.
• Communicate daily with VPRO on all calls that did not meet minimum standards on initial contact or resolution time.
• Prepare all commissions for all customers as well as maintain database to ensure all customers receive the correct commissions in a timely manner.
• Maintain all customer and supplier contracts to insure they have been scanned in, updated in database, communicated to inside sales and filed in the proper location.
• Prepare and process all customer refunds and insure they are delivered in a timely manner.
• Maintain all Customer Service Technician’s (CST) reports that include daily and weekly recaps of Beginning of Day (BOD) Vending Route Scorecard and End of Day (EOD) Service Call reports.
• Prepare daily sales for vending, markets and ORS.
• Procedure any and all reporting requirements as necessary
• Schedule deliveries, arrange planograms and decommission machines in the system.
• Provide office administrative support such as mail distribution, office supply purchasing, etc.
• Assume additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
