We are currently looking for a Sr. Customer Service Representative to join our distribution center in Aurora, IL. With minimal supervision, the Sr. CSR coordinates receipt and processing of orders from multiple sources. Enters reorders, closes tracking documents, processes call tags, and executes returns. Provides timely response to customer inquiries.
Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
(This is NOT a remote position and is located at our On-site Aurora facility)
Starting Pay Rate is $22.50/Hr. Pay is Biweekly, Benefits,insurance, much more!
(P.O. entry, order entry, salesforce, customer service experience a huge plus!)
Key Job Duties
- Receives and processes customer orders arriving via batch, fax, web, phone, and email in a timely manner. Responds to specific requests for changes, etc.
- Primary telephone contact for the distribution center. Responds to internal and external customer information requests for status, tracking, product availability, replenishments, invoicing, payables, manifests, etc.
- Enters and closes tracking documents for waste destruction and enters reorders for replacement kits when applicable. Prepares and distributes destruction reports to channel partners. Contacts generators to gain manifest compliance when applicable.
- Issues call tags for merchandise returns. Processes returns via order management system and SalesForce.com. Prepares weekly returns report for Stericycle management.
- Prepare, reconcile, and transmit AP batches for payment. Performs internal intercompany invoicing for multiple customers.
- Use standard and ad hoc reporting and DC systems to verify and track inventory levels. Reconcile inventory discrepancies. Determine items to be ordered, place purchase orders, and post receipts for received product.
- Seeks competitive quotes for freight shipping. Prepare shipping documents and coordinate freight pick-ups for LTL shipments.
- Provides feedback to management on ways to increase efficiencies and the effectiveness of servicing customer needs. Participates in process improvement activities (LEAN).
- Performs necessary record keeping activities.
