Introduction

Our Claims Customer Service Representatives are responsible for handling claims inquiries in a fast-paced environment while helping our customers when they have questions and concerns.

You won’t need a license because your primary responsibilities will be limited to inquiries on claim statuses and forwarding calls to appropriate claim staff.

We have a hybrid office model (part-time in office, part-time from home) with all training to be onsite. We are located at 1215 Manor Dr., Mechanicsburg, PA 17055

What will I be doing?

Working Monday to Friday – no weekends! Doing an 8 hour shift at a time between the hours of 7am and 5pm – no evenings or night shifts either!

You’ll be answering the phone to three core groups of people:

  • People who have questions or issues around their policies
  • People who have active claims with our medical providers
  • Medical providers about claims information

Some of the questions you’ll be able to answer yourself with the information held in our systems. And where you can’t answer you’ll simply pass the call on to other teams who are trained and hold the appropriate licenses to have those conversations.

In every interaction you’ll demonstrate outstanding listening skills while providing excellent customer service. You’ll be patient, show empathy which will further promote our reputation of integrity.

As a minimum requirement you’ll need:

  • High school diploma
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
  • The ability to type well and use a computer

It would be nice if you also had:

  • The ability to use Microsoft software, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
  • The ability to take complex information and explain it in simple terms either in writing or over the phone or chat
  • An eye for detail

Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
