Customer Advisor

Pay Rate: £10.62

Location: Edinburgh Pentland House

Working Hours: Monday – Friday (Rotational Shift Patterns between 8am – 8pm) plus occasional Saturday

Supports new and existing customers with their financial & service needs via a range of channels where appropriate, and delivers an excellent customer experience. Helps Britain and Northern Ireland prosper and ensures customers receive fair outcomes, customers are dealt with efficiently and referred to the correct person or channel where appropriate, including our vulnerable customers. Acts in line with the Group Values, Behaviors and Codes of Responsibility and supports LBG priorities. Help us to improve policies and procedures by speaking up when you identify an opportunity and providing feedback on the colleague and customer experience, you’ll provide an excellent customer experience for incoming and outbound contact, including at times being fully employed within a call centre environment.

By supporting a range of both internal and external customer enquiries you’ll gain an understanding of what matters to the customers and how you can provide them with the very best experience. You’ll be pro-active, self-motivated, keen to learn and show great attention to detail – all driven by the desire to get the right outcomes for the customer every time.

Key Responsibilities:

·Complete telephony, digital and admin-based tasks to service customer queries

·Take ownership of customer problems, solving them at first point of contact and escalate when required

·Build long lasting professional relationships with Lloyds Banking Group customers that will exceed their expectations

·Deal with customer data ethically and in accordance with the FSA requirements

·Understanding and interpreting data at a basic level

·Process work in line with agreed procedures and Lloyds Banking Group rules or scripts

·Resolve queries and escalate as necessary (i.e. a team leader/manager/other group) and log if appropriate

·Liaise with internal/external Lloyds Banking Group customers and clients

·Confident in processing a high volume of transactions while maintaining high level of accuracy at all times.

Skills:

·Good communication skills - Oral and Written

·Embrace 'in the moment' coaching to develop your skills and knowledge

·A great attitude towards providing an excellent level of customer service which exceeds customer expectations.

·Adaptable to change and willing to embrace new ideas

·Ability to work unsupervised and deliver quality work across multiple tasks within required deadlines
