Shifts start at 5:00 pm will include work on some holidays and weekends up to every other weekend.
Job Summary
Maintain a safe and sanitary environment in patient rooms and assigned areas for Sanford Health patients, visitors and associates by following infection control, safety and procedural guidelines. Maintains hard floors within Sanford Health to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for patients, visitors and associates. Follows infection control, safety and
procedural guidelines. Works with maintenance as well as Housekeeping in all departments throughout the hospital.
Qualifications
High School diploma or general education diploma (GED) equivalent is preferred.
Ability to use computer and prior cleaning experience is helpful. Knowledge of materials, equipment, cleaning methods and cleaning chemicals is helpful. Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills are required. Previous custodial experience in a healthcare environment is preferred. Ability to lift 75-100 pounds.
