Position Details:

The Custodial Helper is responsible for the cleanliness of Connects facilities so that they meet the physical and aesthetic needs of our staff, members, and guests.

This is an hourly, part-time position with a consistent early start, Monday through Friday, 4am-8am. Evening and weekend hours may be necessary.

Janitorial Responsibilities:

• Operates and maintains custodial functions.
• Ensures that all facilities are clean and maintained according to Connects Workspace standards.
• Works with Connects team to establish daily/weekly/monthly cleaning schedule.

Tasks include but not limited to:

• Floor care with sweeping, dragging, mopping, vacuuming and operating a floor auto scrubber.
• Cleaning bathrooms
• Weekly and monthly office cleanings
• Cleaning furniture, tables, kitchenettes, and windows

Based out of multiple locations in Golden, Colorado which currently include but is not limited to:

• Connects Golden, 1301 Arapahoe St. Ste. 105
• Connects Red Rocks / Morris & Mae Market, 18475 W. Colfax Ave. Ste. 132

This position reports to the Facility Manager.

Must be able to drive and have reliable transportation.

Communications

Strong and clear communication with teammates is essential. While this position has the benefit of autonomy, communication with the Facility Manager is essential.

Day-to-Day Operations

The Custodial Helper must be organized in how they plan their day. They must have basic computer skills for communicating with the Facility Manager. They must be able to use the following computer programs:

• Asana: task management
• Notion: how-to guide
• Slack: team & member communications
• G Suite: email & calendar

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the facilities.

Must be able to climb tall ladders.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
