We are looking for an experienced CT tech to work at our Elk Grove Clinic location. This candidate must be ARRT Registered and CPR certified. The CT Technologist ensures quality standards are met and promotes continuous quality improvement. Maintains current knowledge of CT technology and equipment as applicable. Responsible for Patient Safety, including pre-screening for their tomography exam, and aseptic injection technique for contrast administration, etc. Able to perform job functions as a CT technologist with the ability to perform all CT imaging procedures according to department standards in a timely and efficient manner. Have the ability to make quick, accurate decisions on a daily basis and to handle stressful situations. This position is for part time on Saturdays 8am-4:30pm

You will be expected to:

• Document the medical history of the patient prior to any examination
• Sterilize and maintain CT equipment
• Gain patient cooperation by calming anxieties, providing explanations of imaging procedures/equipment and answering questions/concerns
• Maintain quality of CT equipment by following company standards and procedures
• Carefully position patients in order to obtain correct imaging
• Responsibly ensure that the patient is comfortable and safe throughout their experience
• Document the patient’s CT services by accurately recording the data in the patient’s chart
• Communicate medical data, patient history and any related information to the appropriate physician.

Experience:

• CT Tech: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• ARRT Certification (Required)
