Covenant Kids Videographer
JOB DESCRIPTION

Covenant Kids exists to invest in the hearts and lives of children, birth through fifth grade, by offering an engaging and fun environment where kids can connect with Jesus and other kids!

While this position is unique, the goal is to execute the mission and vision of Covenant Kids through more than someone creating, directing, and producing videos—this role is finding creative and meaningful ways of communicating the essence of the gospel to spark life-changing decisions, to glorify God and point to the work He is doing among us, and to inspire spiritual growth within the next generation. This role needs a creative, passionate, collaborative, and detail-oriented self-starter who is dedicated to advancing the ministry of Covenant Church through video, film, and other visual mediums.

What you’ll be doing:

• Championing ministry to – and for – children and their families, birth through fifth grade
• Creating and developing/editing video content for Covenant Kids worship services, social media, andother forms of communication
• Scouting, creating, and setting up shoots for film projects
• Identifying the needs and setting up the technical aspects for video projects including cameramaintenance, lighting, and sound
• Executing the post-production process to ensure final products meets standards andexpectations
• Working alongside the CK Team and the Creative Team to collaboratively achieve goals andobjectives
• Creating new ways to communicate the gospel of Jesus and invite people to know Him

Skills you’ll need to have:

• Creative, imaginative, and innovative thinking
• Ability to execute concepts and ideas crafting them for a variety of age ranges
• Critical thinking and problem solving
• Excellent time management, including an ability to plan and properly pace projects
• Excellent communication skills, particularly casting vision for ideas and projects, askingclarifying questions, and providing verbal direction to others
• Highly proficient with equipment such as lighting, video cameras, audio gear, etc. and able totroubleshoot technical issues
• Highly proficient with Adobe Suite, particularly Lightroom, Premier Pro, et. al. and/or Final Cut

Requirements:

• A changed life as a result of personal faith in Jesus Christ
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in content creation (directing, developing, editing)
• Willingness to commit to the ministry and mission of Covenant Church through membership,attendance, and generosity of time and resources

*Salary is negotiable and can be discussed during the interview process.
