Overview:
Conduct and perform the identified operator level cleaning and preventive maintenance procedures on the cash counting equipment, operate count operation’s cash and currency count equipment in and accurate and productive manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintains a thorough, working knowledge of laws, rules and regulations of the Gaming Commission, as well as company policies, procedures and controls.
  • Provide count and Gaming documentation as required by Internal Controls and departmental procedures.
  • Ensure that the cash counting equipment operates at its peak performance levels by utilizing it in its proper operating mode and conducting the basic steps to keep it running. These steps include but are not limited to: clearing currency jams, replacing or retracking the belts, clearing or cleaning the appropriate sensors and other simple repairs or adjustments.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation logs of the service procedures and cleaning steps preformed on the cash counting equipment.
  • Perform necessary computer input as required to accomplish count functions with equipment.
  • Retrieves cash boxes and/or coin buckets from the slot machines.
  • Operate electric carts and tow multiple trailers in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Sort, count, and wrap coins using various equipment.
  • Sort coins by denomination, using coin separating machines. Remove counterfeit, mutilated cash/coins, and separate and foreign chips.
  • Count, verify and record the games revenue of each box or container while in the secured count room.
  • Sort the contents of each drop box by cash, coin or chip and then by denomination of each.
  • Held accountable, to a high degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
  • Understand and follow all departments’ policies and procedures.
  • Leads by setting a positive example to all Associates.
  • Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.

AGE and GAMING:
21 years of age or above
Gaming property – Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Choctaw Gaming Commission.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED is required.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Must be able to operate electric carts and count room related equipment.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret basic instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply commonsense reasoning to a variety of situations.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS
:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.


Essential responsibilities include moderate physical ability such as lift or maneuver at least forty (40) pounds, and able to walk, and stand for 90% of assigned shift. Push or pull and maneuver carts (full 1000 pounds; empty 200 pounds). Bending, stooping, kneeling, pushing, and pulling may be required throughout shift.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. When on the casino floor, the noise level is loud. When on the casino floor or other designated areas may be subjected to tobacco smoke. Works in a highly secure environment and is subject to Internal Controls and procedures supporting the security of the company assets.


Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Associates must be able to work varying-schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
