GENERAL

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) work unit is responsible for how users within the organization are given the proper identity to access internal and external company resources while preventing those systems from unauthorized access.

The position is responsible for the IAM program and day-to-day activities, including budgeting, staffing, and management of third-party IAM vendors. The position is responsible for ensuring that incidents and requests are completed in a timely manner, following company and audit standards, and providing technical support as needed to both internal and external end users.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Lead the Identity and Access Management team, providing guidance, training, and support to the team members.
  • Lead IAM-related projects and initiatives, including planning, scoping, budgeting, and resource allocation. And ensure projects are delivered on time within budget, and to the expected quality level.
  • Maintain ownership of the full IAM lifecycle for all centralized systems.
  • Make recommendations for policy, procedures, and standards to ensure IAM services keep pace with changing business requirements.
  • Plan and execute IAM engagements with internal and external resources.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the enterprise and externally to identify and prioritize IAM requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of IAM services.
  • Coordinate and respond to audit requests and findings and recommend remediation steps to ensure compliance with established policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Manage external vendors who perform IAM functions for various system access as defined by Caesars policies and procedures.
  • Maintain ownership of the relationships with external IAM vendors.
  • Engage in application analysis, troubleshooting, setup, documentation, and testing of enhancements and related maintenance activities.
  • Keep abreast of current technology in both hardware and software to recommend business solutions that fit system constraints, meet user needs, and match the company's strategic outlook.
  • Participate in training users on new capabilities as needed.
  • Coordinate and schedule system change requests as needed.
  • Advise other departments in the development and/or change of departmental processes and procedures related to IAM.
  • Monitor IAM service metrics and implement improvements to optimize IAM service delivery in support of organizational goals and objectives.
  • Communicate IAM-Related concepts to non-technical users in a clear and concise manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Management, MIS, Information Technology, or a related cyber discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 to 7 years of work experience managing an IAM or related team.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience managing IAM, provisioning/de-provisioning, and related IAM technology projects.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Require limited supervision to set priorities and drive results.
  • Deep understanding of IAM concepts and technologies, including access control, authentication, authorization, identity and lifecycle management, and governance.
  • Extensive experience and knowledge in solving problems that are complex in scope, requiring in-depth evaluation as well as the ability to identify problems in advance and propose solutions.
  • Strong ability to create, review, and build requirements for documentation related to IAM processes and procedures.
  • Ability to plan and execute complex testing scenarios for IAM processes, procedures, and systems.
  • Expert level ability to troubleshoot incidents reported by end-users, escalating where necessary to schedule system changes and discuss resolutions with all parties to arrive at a permanent solution.
  • Excellent ability to maintain product documentation, training, and problem diagnosis materials for any systems administered.
  • Thorough understanding of Gaming and Casino regulatory frameworks (MICS, ICS, gaming regulations, etc.) related to IAM processes and procedures.

PREFERRED

  • Master’s degree in computer science, Business Management, MIS, Information Technology, or a related information technology discipline.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or CIAM.
  • Experience working with SailPoint, Identity IQ and/or Okta (or similar applications).
  • A working knowledge of Caesars Entertainment systems and processes and/or other Casino systems.
