Starting salary: $90,235
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. The starting salary range represents the College’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
Pay Grade: A7

Job Summary
Coordinate Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting programs and courses. Coordination and supervision of the Dental Clinic.

Essential Functions
Determine public and business/industry interests and needs in Dental education along with the supervision of the Dental Clinic operation. Support efficient and effective delivery, development and implementation of programs and courses. Recommend changes or improvements to curriculum and dental clinic processes when appropriate.
Provide instruction in accordance with established competencies and syllabi. Facilitate resolution of problems or conflicts involving students, faculty and/or community partners.
Support the operation of the programs to ensure appropriate staffing, efficient resource utilization, accurate record management, timely reporting, and regulatory compliance. Maintain and support state and national accreditation for Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting. Develop and administer annual budget and monitor expenditures.
Hire, supervise and evaluate faculty, adjunct faculty and staff.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Masters Degree in related field.
4 years of related experience with 3 years of experience in dental care.
Current Licensed Hygienist and ability to obtain Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Dentist (DDS).
Demonstrated skill in training program design.
Strong communication and facilitation skills.
Ability to plan, organize and manage time.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with a wide variety of individuals coming from diverse backgrounds.
Knowledge of current software applications.

Desired Qualifications
Two years of experience in professional teaching or training of personnel.
Experience in curriculum development and learning assessment.
Demonstrated competency in strategic planning.
Ability to use and apply alternative instructional delivery systems to enhance learning.
Current Certified Dental Assistant
Experience with Accreditation, CODA
Experience in running a dental clinic functions.
