Cascade Park Gardens, one of Tacoma's premier affordable Assisted Living Facilities,is seeking a Full Time Cook to prepare a variety of food for our residents, employees, and visitors.
Some Responsibilities:

• Preparing nutritious, appetizing and attractive meals in accordance with the daily menu
• Assure that food is cooked properly and all safety precautions are taken with regard to food handling and sanitation
• Assist the servers in providing a smooth, efficient and safe environment inclusive of dining area
• Be a team player and work well with residents and other departmental personnel
• Provide our residents with a consistent, high quality food service experience

Some Qualifications and Skills:

• 1-3 years previous restaurant experience (preferred)
• Scratch cooking experience (preferred)
• Supervisory experience a plus
• Possess a general understanding of the needs of the elderly as well as developmentally and physically challenged
• Be cheerful, have an enthusiastic attitude and a willingness to learn new knowledge/skills
