Urban Decanter is a small woman owned/led wine bar & wood fired kitchen in the heart of Forest Grove

We are looking for a Cook to join our team

We are looking for a talented cook to join our small kitchen team with at least 2 years of kitchen experience.

The ideal candidate is:

• Passionate about cooking and has strong communication and organization skills.
• Has a minimum of 2 years experience in professional kitchens.
• A creative problem solver who also understands the rhythms/structure of a restaurant kitchen.
• A person who can take on assigned tasks and be accountable for completing daily prep lists.
• Culinary Schooling is a plus!

Cook Responsibilities include:

• Follow recipes and familiarity with scaling, knife skills, and oven operations, etc.
• Highly punctual
• Good communicator and ability to take/give constructive feedback
• Ability to stand 8+ hours a day
• Able to take on tasks as needed, including washing dishes or taking on someone's station if they are out, we are a team and work together to get the job done!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
