The primary function of Cook is to prepare high quality food to order for guests based on established guidelines, keeping the work area clean and organized and conduct his or herself in a positive professional manner. The Cook II is responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of food items for all outlets and for maintaining a level of professionalism in the kitchen.
The starting rate for an experienced Cook is $18.00 per hour, and up to $22 per hour based on experience and skill.
Qualification, Education & Experience Standards:
- At least 3 years of cooking experience in a hotel or related field.
- Previous experience in Banquets, line cooking and fair knowledge of fine dining.
- Culinary training in a college program preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in basic English.
