As the Cook, you will apply your dynamic abilities by:
  • Preparing and serving high-quality, nourishing and properly prepared food items
  • Ensuring resident meal choices are consistent with orders
  • Cleaning and maintain all kitchen equipment
  • Follow time schedules for food production/preparation and the serving of the meals
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Experience in large food quantity preparation in a health care community
  • Knowledge of serving of therapeutic diets and portion control
  • Ability to read, write, and make simple mathematical calculations
  • Ability to remain stationary 50-100%; position self to exert 10-30lbs of force or to move objects
