Job description
The Kitchen Manager will work as part of a team performing managerial duties and hands on food preparation on a daily basis for two Farmhaus Burger stores.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Works all stations in the Back of House to assist team members during peak times and to maintain service and quality standards.
Ensures expediting standards.
Oversee back-of-house operations to ensure safety, quality, recipe accuracy and financial profitability.
Supervise the execution of regular service, take-out, catering deliveries and all in/off-venue events.
Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the FHHG Employee Handbook.
Ensuring that all needs of the guests are accommodated.
Interview, hire, train, develop and coach your team.
Ensures food production and delivery routines, procedures and schedules are accurately maintained.
Communicates clearly and concisely with all employees during service.
Inspect / perform inventory levels of walk-ins, freezers, prep areas, coolers, and dry storage.
Ensures that the kitchens are compliant with all federal, state and local laws and regulations; and company policies for proper food handling.
Portrays a positive and professional attitude.
Minimum Education and Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years culinary experience within a high-volume kitchen setting is essential.
Two-year associate degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent work experience preferred.
Demonstrated financial acumen with labor models is required.
Must be organized, self-motivated, and proactive with a strong attention to detail.
Computer Skills (Microsoft/Google Products), POS and technology.
Must be able to work and remain focused in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings and weekends.
Salary Range based on experience and ability
Annual performance-based raises
5-Day work week
