Job description
Prep Cook:Cook and prepare a variety of food products including meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, toppings, sauces and other food products using a variety of equipment and utensils according to the Daily Prep List.
Line Cook:
Works as a team with fellow line cooks to ensure performance of the cooking line each shift by executing properly cooked food recipes according to recipe specifications and food safety guidelines. Manages the preparation and correct portioning of all food products prior to cooking. Also perform other duties in the areas of food and final plate preparation including plating and garnishing of cooked items and preparing appropriate garnishes for all hot menu item plates.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.
- At least 6 months experience in a similar capacity.
- Must be able to communicate clearly with managers and kitchen personnel.
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
