Controller/HR Manager
System Controls, Inc. and Electric Machine Control, Inc. are privately-held corporations located in Trussville, Alabama, engaged in the business of designing, building, and servicing custom electrical control systems for industrial, utility, and municipal applications.
The Controller/HR Manger is a member of the Management Team responsible for all aspects of accounting including, verifying the integrity of the data supplied to produce monthly and year-end financial statements and managing multiple bank accounts.
The Controller/HR Manger is also responsible for payroll, employee benefits and supervising the administrative staff.

What you’ll need to be considered (requirements):
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of accounting experience with at least three years in small business
- Proven payroll experience
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local tax compliance regulations and reporting
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Proficiency with accounting software (experience with software implementation is a plus)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- CPA or CMS license preferred

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
