Job description
Controller needed for Servpro of Douglasville to provide leadership and coordination of company financial planning, debt financing, budget management functions and human resources and organizational development. Ensure that company accounting procedures confirm to generally-accepted accounting principles.
Assist in managing the profitability and cash flow of the business that will assure the continued liquidity and growth of the company and the financial well-being of the stakeholders.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Direct and coordinate the company financial planning and budget management functions
  • Manage the preparation of financial reports and forecasts weekly reporting by position (mit, str, office-automate)
  • Communicate, document and approve marketing expenses for calculation of ROI
  • Monitor, analyze and adjust monthly operating results against budget more consistent, more current
  • Oversee daily operations of the Finance/HRdepartment increase training and maximize bandwidth
  • Design the organization structure for the Finance/HRdepartment, staff positions with qualified employees,and continually train and develop employees in order to effectively accomplish the department’s goals and objectives define and track KPIs for direct reports
  • Ensure compliance with local, state/provincial, and federal reporting requirements getting better
  • Work with other department managers, executives,and owners to develop and execute the strategic plan 4DX
  • Direct and coordinate debt financing and debt service payments with external agencies
  • Manage banking relationships, keeping a pulse on service levels, market trends and potential to assist in growth, making adjustments as needed.
  • Measure benchmarks for the financial and operating performance of departments and divisions, recommend changes as needed
  • Direct financial audits and provide recommendations for process and procedure improvements
  • Execute short and long-range departmental objectives, policies, and operating procedures
  • Work with ownership to review annual risk exposure and insurance requirements
  • Work with CPA firm to accurately prepare and file required tax forms
Compensation: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
