Job description

Machinery builder looking for controls technician with industrial automation experience. Our projects span many high-tech industries, from energy to aerospace and defense.

Responsibilities

• Build industrial control panels as per NFPA 79
• Install and commission PLCs, perform loop checks
• Lead the fabrication and assembly of several control panels
• Follow schematics and documentation from engineers
• Perform shop jobs such as equipment setup, purchasing, shipping/receiving
• Train others on proper wiring techniques, layout considerations, etc
• Ensure products are delivered on time and follow all pertinent regulations/codes

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial controls and PLCs
• Experience with reading schematics (Bonus: create schematics in software of your choosing)
• Control architecture and wiring experience
• Crimping, stripping, cutting etc
• Basic metal fabrication
• Programming experience a plus
• Experience with thermal management a plus

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
