Job description

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor, communicate and traffic all incoming content.
• Collaborate with Newsmax staff to achieve editorial objectives.
• Identify issues with incoming content, evaluate alternatives and implement solutions.
• Responsible for operating various news gathering equipment, including router, receivers, video editing and video storage environments.
• Working knowledge of the multitude of paths by which content is imported and exported.
• Communicate consistently with the newsroom staff regarding content, including coordination with field crews.
• Distribution of content between Newsmax properties.

Position Requirements:.

• 2 to 5 years of experience in a related field.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Effective delegation and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work undependably under timeline to successfully achieve goals set by Newsmax leadership.
• Good organization, attention to detail and proactivity.
• Performs well in a high pressure, deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to perform daily responsibilities swiftly, accurately, and comprehensively.
• Detailed-oriented, organized, and strong ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Must be eager, motivated, reliable individual and willing to work as part of a team.
• Proficiency in computer-based editing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.63 - $31.25 per hour
