Position: Construction Site Supervisor

We are a growing construction company based in Needham, MA, with projects throughout Brookline. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented construction site supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, from planning and scheduling to budget management and quality control.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients and stakeholders. The construction site supervisor will manage all on-site activities, including scheduling, coordinating subcontractors and tradespeople, and maintaining a safe working environment. This position will require excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as a thorough understanding of construction processes and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all on-site activities, ensuring that work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
• Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with safety guidelines and regulations
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors and tradespeople, and ensure that they are completing work to the required standards
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, and ensure that project timelines are met
• Provide regular progress reports to management and clients, and identify any issues or potential delays
• Collaborate with the project team, including architects, engineers, and designers, to ensure that designs are implemented correctly and that project goals are achieved
• Manage all documentation related to the project, including contracts, change orders, and project plans
• Resolve any conflicts or issues that arise on-site, and provide guidance and support to team members as needed
• Ensure that all project-related materials and equipment are ordered and delivered on time
• Attend project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a construction site supervisor
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of construction processes and practices
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
• Experience with scheduling and budgeting software
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of safety regulations and guidelines
• Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field (preferred)
