La Placa Development is seeking an experienced Residential Home Construction Project Manager.

CONSTRUCTION MANAGER OBJECTIVE

FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT OVERSEEING ONE TO THREE JOB SITES IN ORANGE COUNTY

As a construction project manager for La Placa Development, the individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the build, working with our team of project coordinators, the project architect, interior designer, and subcontractors to ensure the design is executed flawlessly, on time and on budget. Individual will also be responsible to maintain an efficient means of communication between third party vendors, subcontractors and clients, to ensure the homebuilding process is comfortable and enjoyable for all parties involved. Individual must maintain and manage each project’s strict construction-building schedule to produce a product that meets the La Placa Development standard.

Job Responsibilities:

● Oversee construction sites, sub-contractors to ensure a high level of quality and safety from conception to completion.

● Creates and reviews requests for change orders.

● Guarantees that all work is performed in accordance with city approved plans.

● Ensures the project is constructed and in accordance with the homeowners’ contract and budget.

● Performs change order estimating and assists the sub-contractor in change order negotiations.

● Coordinates, monitors, and assures project timeline.

● Reviews weekly and monthly reports on the status and progress of the contracts, including project costs and potential changes.

● Daily reports as to the status of the projects to the superintendent.

Preferred Experience:

● Extensive knowledge of construction industry

● Risk assessment/management skills

● Conceptual planning ability

● Conflict management and problem solving skills

● Comfort with time reporting systems

● Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards

● Excellent time and project management skills

● BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
