Job description

We're the on-site maintenance crew for the Raintree Townhomes in Oakdale, MN. Our responsibilities are strictly outdoors / exterior of buildings. Our land is about 30 acres. With 172 units, 43 Building's (4 units per building.)

Our daily tasks include:

-Cutting the grass on a weekly basis. Including weed whipping, and using a leaf blower. As well as using our riding lawnmowers / push-mower.

-Painting our finished projects as necessary, including balcony's, fences, and some of our 3 story buildings. Using ladders as tall as 24' to 32' is necessary to use when getting the peaks of our buildings. Being comfortable on ladders is a necessity for our painters.

-We will rebuild fences and balcony's as needed. As well as replace the old rotted siding on our buildings as needed. Occasionally working with concrete for setting posts, or whatever the reason may be.

-We also manage the pool area for the residents. (yes you get a pass to the pool while you work here)

-We also do snow removal throughout the winter, employees are then on-call to do snow removal the following mornings. If we had to come in on weekends - it's time and a half. Holidays double time and a half. We encourage everyone to apply for unemployment through the Winter... we won't deny it.

Otherwise regular work week is 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday. Most the time we will give you Rain days off, although sometimes it will be a half day type of deal... It's all dependent on the weather. Communication is crucial if your working here. You would need a cell phone for when we start later due to rain and in the Winter when we're all on call. We also have 8 holidays off each year. The cell phone is our one requirement thats a necessity. We could work with you until your first check if you dont already currently.own one

Also just because we hire you on as a Painter, doesn't mean you won't do other things as needed. Like help out with construction, concrete work and jack-hammering, Landscaping, Grass cutting, etc.

It's a great job to get your foot in the door doing this type of work.

The work is outdoors and you dont typically have close contact with the residents.
