Materials Driver

JCP Construction is committed to employing a workforce that reflects the community we serve. We focus on self-performing selective demolition, cast-in-place concrete and carpentry projects. Additionally, JCP has been a part of some of the most recognized projects in Wisconsin.

As a Material Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and removing construction materials and equipment to and from worksites and be able to load/unload materials & equipment accurately, safely, and on time. You will work closely with customers, team-members (field and office), and management to guarantee projects are completed to company standards. This position requires patience and steadiness, along with a team-work mentality. An ideal candidate will prefer a steady work style and enjoy executing clear objectives in a team focused environment.

Responsibilities:

• Support the construction operations by scheduling and delivering materials, tools, and equipment to the jobsite from various suppliers and other jobsites
• Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 85 lbs
• Create and maintain a weekly jobsite delivery schedule with the field leadership
• Track and maintain an active inventory list for all jobsites
• Organize and maintain tools and materials stored at the JCP’s 2 storage locations
• Assist with debris removal from jobsites
• Assist coordinate the snow removal and lawn maintenance at JCP’s office

Requirements:

• 1 year of prior commercial driving experience is preferred
• Able to use technology well
• Possess a valid license
• Knowledge of building materials
• Possess a current DOT medical certificate
• Ability to lift 85 pounds throughout the day as needed
• Boom/crane experience helpful, but not required
• Fork truck experience helpful, but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
